The day was August 16, 2002.  It was Sammy Sosa card day at the cloudy Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.  The Diamondbacks were in town for the weekend.  Curt Schilling was going for his major-league leading 20th win.  Sammy Sosa had 491 career home runs going into the game.  What a game!  Final score was 2-1, Arizona.  Sammy Sosa hit a solo homer to right-center field in the 9th with two out.  Curt Schilling picked up the win by pitching 9 2/3 innings.  My overall experience was WOW!  If you only go to one baseball game in your lifetime, make it at the "friendly confines of Wrigley Field."

To complete our collection of pictures, we also returned on July 20th, 2007 for Carlos Zambrano Bobblehead Day.  Again, they played the Diamondbacks.  And again, the Diamondbacks won.  My opinion of the stadium remains and I'm not sure there is a bad seat anywhere in the stadium.

Here is the view from the blue line train.  Not bad for a train platform.

This is the *only* way to get to a Cubs game.

Yet more images of the train.

Since a day game at Wrigley is likely, here is a suggestion for night time.  Good food on the pier too.
