During our family adventure to Boston, we spent some time on Longwharf. This is where Quincy Market and the New England Aquarium are located. We ate at Legal Sea Foods right on the pier. It was an interesting day. The highlight of this day was actually what is referred to as North End. North End is home to a lot of small, italian eateries and pastry shops. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures from there, but I can tell you two places to visit if you are in the area. First is Mike's Pastry. The only place I've been that had better cannoli is in Philadelphia and the rest of the items we tried were superb. No matter how full you are from the lunch/dinner, you *must* stop in at Mike's. The second was where we had our meal, Al Dente Restaurant. The food was excellent here and it was definitely family owned. Great atmosphere too, but there aren't a lot of tables, so it may be crowded.
